Purpose of loan:To pay off ALL debts and build my credit. My financial situation: I am an active duty military member stationed in Europe. The delinquencies that are hurting my credit record are a result of a car loan that I cosigned on for my parents, and a payday loan that has already been paid off. My parents ran in to some hard financial times since they had to pay for some major medical bills out of pocket, so I helped them out and got myself into a little trouble. The good news is that since my last listing, they?ve worked out a zero interest payment plan for their medical bills, but the car loan is still behind. This has enabled me to eliminate $2600 from my loan request. Now my loan amount is at the Maryland State minimum of $6,001, even though I only need $5,670. The excess $331 will be returned to lenders in my first payment. I have received counseling from the Family Support Center here on base, and they have helped me to establish the budgets you see below. I am very responsible and have great work ethic. I'm not a very big fan of loans - just don't like to be in debt, but I strayed into the credit trap while trying to do the right thing for my family. I've learned my lesson well, and am committed to digging out of this situation. Nothing gives me more pride than serving my country. I am currently under contract to the Air Force until 2009, but will be promoted & re-enlisted next year. My career goal is to become a commissioned officer. Thank you and God Bless! Loan usage: 1st, ($1100) bring the delinquent car loan current; 2nd, ($4570) pay off all loans-including 2 payday loans (BAD MISTAKE AND LESSON LEARNED), the military star card (the only CC I have), & a deducible fee from a German car rental company for a little over $1000 for a car accident that happened with a rental car a few months ago. This loan will be paid faithfully-All On Time. If I could, I'd set up an allotment directly from my military pay so there wouldn't be room for any miss/delays in payment, since not currently possible, payments will automatically come out of the same account into which my military pay is deposited. I fully intend and focus on buildig a good reputation with this transaction(s) and the people on Prosper. I will not fail or disappoint you. Thank you for your favorable consideration.
