I?m relisting this loan request since last posting was unfortunately $33.87 short ($9,966.13 funded) and I couldn't get the loan through prosper. Thank you for your support and please do consider investing in me again. Purpose of loan: I had a bad habit of abusing my credit cards during and since my college years. Now my goal is to nullify my high interest credit card debts and eventually become debt-free. I found out about Prosper.com through a colleague and I'd like to consolidate all my credit card debts and pay it off within less than 2 years. My financial situation: I can guarantee that I will be making more than a minimum payment every month with the income from my fulltime position and occasional freelance work. I am currently paying from 15% to 24% in interest to 6 credit card companies. Hopefully this loan will help me get out of debt quicker. As you can see, I have 2 delinquencies which I am disputing through TransUnion and the collection agency. They were from same collection agency in PA for VA Dominion Power for same amount of $234 twice. The outstanding amount plus penalty fees were paid off to the power company in 2003 and they promised to take it off collections but never had done so. Monthly Net Income: $2700.00 (steady income) + $500 to $1000 (freelance) My monthly budget: Mortgage/rent: $850 rent Insurance: $150/mo auto insurance + $40/mo health/dental insurance Car expenses: Around $150/mo on gas+others Utilities: Around $30/mo for electricity Phone, cable, internet: $40/mo for internet Food, entertainment: Around $150/week Clothing, household expenses: Around $150/month Credit cards and other loan payments: Disregarding this loan, CC payments were around $700/mo Other expenses: $ --------------------------------------- Total monthly expenses: $2710.00 |
