As you'll see from my profile, I have worked hard for the last 6+ years to turn my financial life around. The most dramatic pay off for my efforts was the purchase of a home in rural Hawaii for our retirement. Buying a home always has unexpected costs but doing it from 2500 miles away made for even more of an adventure.
We have a plan and are going to fulfill it. The sooner I can pay down my credit card balances, the sooner I can increase my savings for those inevitable, unexpected costs of home ownership.
