Hello and thank you for viewing my listing.

I am 57 years old and raising two boys, ages 13 and 16. I have been married for 17 years, but separated for 6 years.

I worked for a company for 28 years, but lost my job in 1998, due to major depression. I applied for Social Security Disability Insurance benefits and supported myself and my family by spending my savings and my 401k retirement funds. I also borrowed from family members to make ends meet while I waited for the final determination from Social Security. In November of 2005, I was finally awarded benefits for myself and my two sons, but we did not receive our first check until March 2006. We did receive retroactive benefits and I was able to repay my family and I negotiated settlements and paid off most of my old creditors.

I still have outstanding a High Interest Car Title Loan
Lighthouse Financial @ 18.9% per MONTH!!!!!
Pay off Principal $ 3100 + Interest $ 600-700 = $3700-3800

These things are killers, and I now need help to get out of it.

At this point I receive SSDI for $1920, plus $1006 dependent benefits for my two sons. So my current monthly net income is $2926. These benefits are steady and secure as I am not scheduled for a medical review for 3 to 5 years.

Here's my monthly budget with the Prosper loan in place:
Mortgage/rent: $ 1095
Insurance: Car $ 80 Renter's $ 45
Car expenses: $ 120 Gas & Maintenance
Utilities: $ 200 Gas, Electric, Water and Garbage
Phones, cable, internet: $ 170
Food: $ 400
Medical, Dental, Prescriptions $ 75
Credit cards and other loan payments: $ 60
---------------------------------------
Total monthly expenses: $ 2245

As you can see, I have almost $700 left over to be used, not only for my Prosper Payment, but for savings and emergencies so that I never get into this situation again.

I promise that my payments to Prosper will be my top priority each month. Prosper will automatically withdraw my payments each month so that everyone, including myself, knows that my payment will be made on time, every time. I'm not about to make a mistake with this opportunity to start rebuilding my credit.

Thank you again for viewing my listing, and God bless.
