Aloha and mahalo for taking the time to review my listing request. I'm Aileen. I'm an enthusiastic supporter of People-to-People Lending and had the priviledge of attending the first annual Prosper Days Conference in San Francisco this past February. I've been a member of Prosper since July of last year as a Lender and supporter of my Group, Malama Ohana. You can see my lending portfolio here: http://www.ericscc.org/index.php?page=member_detail&sn=boxedupinhawaii Purpose of loan: * I want to refinance the revolving debt on my credit card.and would like to take advantage of a lower interest rate on a Prosper loan. * Secondly, I will use the Prosper funds to establish and scale my eBay and wholesale business. I attended the eBay conference last year, retained an eBay Business Consultant, and have secured a partnership with an established vendor on the island who will supply the inventory for my eBay store. I have been working on my business plan for nearly a year and I feel confident and prepared to move forward in establishing my eBay and wholesale business at this time. I am requesting the maximum loan amount of 25k to cover my debt refi and to cover projected AND unanticipated expenses for my part-time business. Any surplus of loan funds will be paid back immediately. My financial situation: I have always had a fiscally conservative approach to my personal finances. My DTI (debt to income ratio) prior to this loan request is 8%. Because this loan serves the purpose of debt refi, my actual DTI as reflected in my credit profile is inflated. I am a Homeowner and have a trajectory of completely paying off my mortgage in 5 years. I also own my car outright. Because I am single and have no children, I have minimal financial obligations and monthly expenses. . I have been employed with the State of Hawaii Department of Human Services in the field of social work for nearly 16 years. I've climbed the ranks relatively quickly and am now an Administrator overseeing staff development services for all employees statewide. I am exploring entrepreneurship with the goal of starting a part-time microbusiness that will assist me in accelerating early retirement. This will afford me the time and money to pursue a lifelong dream - philantrophic work. I am passionate about moving forward to bring this dream to fruition.
