Purpose of loan: Purchasing a 2000 Ford Explorer, 92,000 miles. Currently my personal car is 94 Cutlas Supreme with 193,000 miles. Usually milk all my vehicles for all I can get, and this car still has some life in it. However, I plan on making a trip this summer to NY towing a sailboat. I also need a vehicle to tow a chipper and stump grinder since I have done some major tree cutting this spring. Another reason for purchasing a 4x4 Ford Explorer is for getting to work on snow covered roads. Since I work for the local phone company I am required to be at work, not suck in my driveway. In general, this vechicle will only be used to tow my boat to the local lake and to work and back. Our mini van will do all the other necessary driving. I may choose to resell this vehicle for profit, since I buying from an auction. I choose Posper.com mainly because I want have the cash available when I find the right vehicle at the right price (buying from private owner or auction). I'm sure this is the cheapest way to purchase a vehicle if you know what your doing. Getting a car loan would require me to pay dealer prices. The Ford Explorer I have for my picture is exactly what I'm looking for, 2000 Ford Explorer, 92,000 miles, and very good condition. Its being sold in an auction, thus price is not yet determined.. However, from previous auctions this vehicle should not sell more then $4000.00. I'm only asking 3500.00 from prosper.com because I have some cash already saved up and ready for purchase of a used vechicle.
