Thank you for taking the time to read my loan application. I am a recent college graduate and have entered the adult world. It has not been the smoothest transition financially. After graduating, moving out on my own and adjusting to paying all my own bills including rent, car insurance and utilities, I have found myself in debt. I started a wonderful job at an amazing company. I am on the path to a promotion within the next year from a Recruiting Assistant to a Junior Recruiter. I have started paying down my loans, but at these interest rates, it will take several years to pay them off. With my Prosper loan, I can save money on interest, and be out of debt in less than 3 years. I am taking out this loan to consolidate all my debt in one place so that it can be eliminated. I have cut up all of my credit cards except the one with the lowest credit limit. This card will be kept for absolute emergencies only and kept in my desk at home. I also want to improve my credit score in order to buy a house in the future. Currently, I make $38,000 annually. This gives me a monthly income, after taxes, of around $2200. My monthly budget after the loan: Rent: $575 Utilities: $40 Cable/Internet: $35 Cell Phone: $65 Car/ Car Insurance: $275 Gas: $70 Food: $100 (I still eat at home with my mom several nights a week) Entertainment: $100 Other: $200 Total Expenses: $1360 This leaves over $800 a month to pay back this loan.
