Purpose of loan: The purpose of this loan is to pay off my car immediately so I can begin working on other finances. The second purpose is so I can see the dentist and take care of some long needed dental work. The third part is to use this to work on enhancing my credit history. I have a larger credit card debt that I would like to pay off at $6500. I'm applying for a $1750 loan instead so I can immediately pay off my car and also show others on Prosper that I can be trusted for a larger loan by quickly paying off this smaller loan. I am very interested in clearing out my debt as soon as possible so I can turn around and help others in the Prosper community. My financial situation: My current financial situation is excellent. After a rough patch immediately following college (I made the mistake of putting a great deal of my education on credit cards) I have been able to lift myself up during the past two years. I've been at my current job since April of 2004 and earn $41,000 per year. My only current debts are one credit card at $6000, my car loan at $1550, and my student loans which equal roughly $10000.
