I have been a Firefighter for 15 years, and recently upgraded to Paramedic/FF. I have also worked as a US Army Paratrooper, NM State Policeman, and US Forest Service Wildland FF. My wife works for the local Air Force Base. We have a 7 year old daughter and another baby girl on the way due in September. We have a very stable marriage and family life, (married for 12 years). Our combined income is $112,000.00. (Keep in mind my debt to income ratio is not taking my wife's income into consideration.) We have absolutely no problem with our monthly obligations, it's just that we don't have a lot of cash on hand due to recently placing a huge down payment on 6 acres of land for a future home site. Due to recent building in our current area, we really need to spruce up our landscaping and other fix-ups around the house to compete with other homes selling. I will list exactly what I plan on using these funds for, and I will also list our disposible income to show our payback potential. Also, our area is having quite a real estate boom and I want to get a Real Estate License to expand my horizons a bit. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND HELPING! Purpose of Loan: $2000 to complete landscaping project $800 for a large driveway gate $700 for Real Estate School/License for myself. $2700 to pay off existing loan (Will free up $130 mo.) $1600 to pay off existing loan (Will free up another $140 mo) $700 to repair wifes car (Timing Belt, drive belt, and water pump) TOTAL $8,500.00 Our bills: House $750 2nd mrtg $500 vehicles/ins $1100 credit cards $600 utilities/phones $350 Food/Clothes $500 Daughters activites/school $100 Land pymt- $300 Total Bills- approx $4,200 Annual gross income of $112,00.00, After taxes we pull in approx. $6500.00 mo., This leaves approx. $2300 left over monthly. This Prosper loan payment will be approx. $310.00 mo, and I will be paying off two older loans with a combined payment of $270.00 , basically leaving not much of a difference in our monthly bills.
