Purpose of loan: I currently live with roommates, and have for nine years. My children are 8 and 10, and we are ready to get our own house. I currently pay the majority of the bills in the house with little to no financial help from the roommates. The easiest way for me to resolve this issue is to move, because I can't seem to get them to leave. My financial situation: I have had some financial issues in the past, which caused me to file bankruptcy. I was recently divorced raising two small children. I managed to get myself in over my head by buying a car and house, because I wanted to prove that I could manage on my own without my husband. The house that I bought was way out of my price range, but I let myself be convinced that I could afford the payments. Since I have filed bankruptcy, I have had a loan at the credit union where I currently bank, and have paid that off. I have also paid off my student loan from returning to college to earn my associates degree. I have a steady job, and am looking for a small break to help me start a new and happy life for me and my children.
