Our Family My husband and I have been married for four years and have two beautiful children: Ainsley Rae who is 3 and Christian Steele who is 1 and a half. I am a stay-at-home-mom that also runs the administrative and financial aspects of our mobile auto detail business (www.chromeillusions.com) in Arizona. My husband, Chris, regularly works 7 days a week. We are active in our church (non-denominational Christian) and work hard to live integrity filled lives. Our Business Chrome Illusions began shortly after we were married, in May of 2002. My husband worked in the industry and realized two things. 1. He wanted to be his own boss and 2. He knew he could provide better quality and service than the company he was working. We bought a trailer and equipment with credit cards and he started working. Driving the trailer around was our advertising and within 2 months Chris quit his day job. About a week after quitting his day job, the trailer was stolen from our house. Luckily, it was found, trashed and minus all the equipment, a couple weeks later. We considered quitting the business because we were going to have to replace all the equipment and chemicals that were lost and that was a major, major expense but we decided we weren't going to let this stop us. We replaced everything and cleaned up the trailer and the rest is history. 98% of our business is from referrals. We are growing at a fast pace and just hired our first full-time employee in January. Our business plan includes purchasing two fully equipped vans and hiring one more employee in the next 6 months to 1 year. Which brings us to............. Our Request We are looking to purchase a used van and all the equipment (including a generator, extractor, pressure washer, and 150 gallon water tank) and miscellaneous supplies (towels, bottles, triggers, and chemicals) to equip it for our current employee to work alone. This will free up the time for both, our employee and my husband, to complete more work and in turn that will raise the company?s income level. We currently have the work, we just don't have the time without another vehicle to complete it all. The work is waiting for us. This loan will solve that problem.
