After years of drifting through life, battling depression and alcoholism, walking around in a fog, and in general just being a loser, I decided it's time to put away my toys and grow up.  I actually came to this realization a few years ago.  And it's taken me a few years to develop and implement a firm plan of action.

In that time I've set goals for myself, found a career I enjoy and am passionate about, overcome the depression and simply quit drinking.  At the age of 30 I'm happier than I've ever been in my life, and am enjoying adulthood better than I ever thought I would.

My profile designates me as high-risk, and I agree that on paper, I am definitely high-risk.  But hopefully someone will take a leap of faith with me, and perhaps look past the numbers.  Other than what I am going to use the money for, I have no debt.  My car is paid off.  I have one credit card, a low-limit card that I got to add a tradeline to my report and build a history.  I live well within my means.

So what am I going to use $2,000 for?  Quite frankly to clean up my credit report and get out of debt.  After a lot of hard work, I am almost there.  I'm just looking for some help to speed up the process.  I want a house, and am well on my road to getting the house I want (I'm actually renting it now), I just need a little boost.  And the addition of a tradeline to my credit report (which has improved greatly over the last few months thanks to PsychDoc and everyone at CreditBoards and CreditNet) will help me tremendously.

Right now, I am making more money than I ever have.  Not rolling in dough, but doing well enough that I have the disposable income to take on a $2k loan with ease.  And with the path that I am on at work, I expect to be doing much better in just a year or so.

Hopefully, someone out there will give me a chance.  Thanks!
