To all possible lenders:

Please note that my documents have been vetted by my GL and are available for lender review at:

I'm a 30 yr old male currently living in Austin, TX.  I am a hard working, honest individual with some past credit blemishes from living in NYC.  Austin has improved my financial situation drastically and my mental and physical well-being has improved as well.  Moving to Austin has to be one of the best moves I've ever made.

Purpose of loan:

The money requested will be used to pay off additional state taxes owed from 2003.  I was caught off guard from a letter this week from NY State stating that I owed additional taxes.  This was due to hiring a bad accountant in 2004.  I found out he got his license pulled and I now owe $2,200 by April 30th.  This is in addition to Federal taxes from the same year I have been paying off in a payment plan.  My total tax liability is $4,200.  I have $1,200 that I can put towards paying this balance off and need the additional $3,000 requested to cover the rest.  I would rather pay the prosper loan than the penalties and interest the I.R.S. charges.

My financial situation:

Even though my credit rating is listed as High Risk, I would like to point out that the only major outstanding debt on my credit report is for a consolidated student loan of $11,000.  I have 12 accounts listed on my credit report and 7 of these are from student loans that have been consolidated several times.  The majority of the 59 negatives on my credit file are from these past student loan lates.

I also have 2 judgments listed on my credit report.  The first one is set to come off in 6 months.  The other one was disputed and never removed is 5 years old.  I also have one collection that is set to come off in 5 months.

As you can see I have no recent items that are public records or collections.

Only time can improve my credit score now.

I am in much better shape since moving to Austin from NYC last year.  After all of my expense below, I still have and additional $1,042 for saving and emergencies.  I have no problem covering a monthly prosper loan amount of up to $250.

Please feel free to ask for additional information.  I thank you all in advance for your consideration.

My monthly budget:

Mortgage/rent: $1,100
Self-Employed Insurance: $188
Car expenses (lease and insurance and Gas): $358 & $170 $160
Utilities: $125
Phone, cable, Internet: $225
Food, entertainment: $600
Dog Food and medication: $120
Clothing, household expenses $150
Business Credit cards and other loan payments: $450
Federal and State Taxes (Saved for Quarterly Payments): $1,560
---------------------------------------
Total monthly expenses: $5,206

Leftover after expenses: $1,042

*** Please note that I have no intention of ever defaulting on this loan.  I spent a great deal of time and money clearing up my credit report and have no intention of going back to a bad debt situation.   I now have a good steady income and will continue to better my situation daily.

Thanks
