I am taking out this loan to buy a vehicle from a private seller. I found a great deal that I will not be able to get at any dealership, it is through a family friend and is a very good opportunity for me. I choose to go through Prosper, this will be my second loan and I had a very good experience with my first listing. I took care of my responsibilities with my first loan quickly and never had the smallest of issues as any of the 21 people who funded me could attest to.

At first glance, I probably don't seem like a strong candidate to fund because of my D rating. To give you a brief history of my credit, I was always very responsible and timely with my payments before I went away to school at the University of Illinois at the age of 23. During my two years there, I ran into troubles when my student loans expired. I rang up 2 of my credit cards very high, and being only able to work one day a week, I got a quick lesson on how you can get into trouble. Rather then dropping out of school, I chose to finish school, but this certainly did not help my credit. Since I have returned home and began to work full time this is what I have accomplished...
4,200$ Chase MC--100% paid off
3,500$ US Bank MC%--100% paid off
Car Payment(had 3500$ left)--100% paid off
Prosper Loan for $4000---100% paid off
All of the above was done September '06 through April '07. I put this up to show you that the brief 2 year period was nothing more then a glitch on my radar. I make good money for my age, have gotten back on top of my finances, and I will have absolutely zero problems paying off this loan.

I am making between 1000-1600$  WEEKLY, straight cash in hand with no Tax effect. I also just recently starting a small business project on the side that has nettted me over 2000$ so far this year
.My monthly budget: Mortgage/rent: $ 0.00...Live with Family
Insurance: $100$ every 3 months
Car expenses: $0.00....Car is fully paid off
Utilities: $0.00...covered
Phone, cable, internet: $up to 150.00 for cell phone
Food, entertainment: $500 approx
.Clothing, household expenses $under 100$
Credit cards and other loan payments: Credit cards are 100% paid off, I owe zero dollars and doubt I will ever touch them because I don't need to! ( may buy some gas just to make a timely payment and improve credit)
Student Loans: Approx 200 a month

My monthly expenses are now under $1,000 since I have just taken care of all of my credit card debt. As stated above, I have been making a minimum of $1,000 a week so far this year, usually more. I will have no problems making these payments
