Purpose of loan: My wife and I will use the money to consolidate our debt into one manageable payment with hopefully a lower interest rate. I am a casino host and have been with the company for 6 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in business management. My wife and I have been married for 3 1/2 years. We have one son. We, like many newlyweds, bought a house, appliances and other stuff for the house. Within the last year, we have had to purchase 2 newer cars due to breakdowns. We are trying to get things under control but we could use some help. My financial situation: My wife and I have solid jobs. I have never been more than 30 days late on any payments and I want to keep it that way. We are looking for some help so we can be debt free within 3-4 years and at that point we would like to start saving for the future and hopefully be able to contribute to Prosper to help others like us. We normally bring in about $4200 a month, sometimes a little more but as you can see everything we make goes to bills. If we could consolidate our credit cards and car payments into one payment, we could save $500 or more a month which would help for us to reach our goals sooner. Our monthly budget: Mortgage/rent: $ 1400 Insurance: $ 150 Car expenses: $ 550 Utilities: $ 150 Phone, cable, internet: $ 350 Food, entertainment: $ 350 Clothing, household expenses $ 50 Credit cards and other loan payments: $ 900 Other expenses: $ 300 --------------------------------------- Total monthly expenses: $ 4200 |
