Purpose of loan:
We are newly weds who recently bought a two beds one bath condo conversion and wish to remodel a few things as well as pay off our credit card debt to get a fresh start. We figure it would be better to pay a fixed rate amount than to pay different credit cards their outrageous rate if we decided to use them to cover some of the costs of remodeling.

My financial situation:
Right now we only have 2500 in credit card debt to which we apply about $200 a month to pay off. If we get the loan at a lower rate, these $200 will be geared towards paying the loan since the costs of remodeling, about $4000 will not be paid with credit cards.
