Family & Employment Information
I met my wife while we were both in the military. We were in the 1st Cav at Ft. Hood, TX. After I relocated back To IL I coerced her to follow. We have lived at our current residence for 10 years. We tried everything for years to have kids. We finally gave up, and then had 2 boys in 13 months.

I work for UPS as a preload supervisor. I currently do most the of the route research and look for ways to improve and refine the routes. I've been with the company for almost 9 years. My wife works with 2-5 year olds at the local Jr. College. She has her 2 year deg in Early Childhood Development. All though she does not make what I think she deserves, she enjoys the contact and her job with the kids. She has been employed for 5 years and 2 before that as a work study student.

As of right now I have 30 hours left to get my Bachelors Deg. I have plans of re-entering school this summer if we can get these few finances in order. I have my military benefits (see profile for background) to cover most of the costs but we still need to line up everything to make it happen.

Why we're listing at Prosper:
We have 2 Credit cards to consolidate with this loan:
1. Lowes card we have been using for home remodeling. We have never been late on this card.
2. Bank of America Card We used this card after our second child was born in just 13 months.
We have only one loan
1.US BANK. We have had our refinance with the company for 5 years. Always on time.

Our Little financial Slip up
With her being off for maternity leave we struggled a bit and used the card for emergencies. I pay all of my bills through bill pay and get electronic statements. When we set up the initial payment for the Bank of America account, I set a min payment of $100 and set the date from the current statement. We decided after a couple months to just close the account and tuff it out. This way we would not use it again. Unfortunately the due date changed (I did not notice) and we got a late fee. The CC company pushed the rate to 32%. Once done it was too late. So what was easily manageable turned into a mess.
