WHY I AM APPLYING FOR A LOAN: Life in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina is not an easy life and to obtain financing to renovate my house is not as simple as it once was; therefore, I am applying for this loan to renovate my house, help my family finish renovating their houses and get our lives back on track. A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I graduated from Tulane University in 2001 with a degree in Accounting and Finance. I am a CPA with a steady full-time job as a Senior Financial Analyst. My net pay is $3,100 a month on a $68,000 salary. I have the following monthly expenses: Mortgage: $1,100 Utilities: $500 Car Note/Insurance: $515 Credit Cards: $225 Food/Entertainment/Misc: $150 Therefore, I have approximately $600 a month to pay my prosper loan. I am an honest individual and have every intention of paying back this loan as fast as I possibly can; however, I need a break to get my head above water before I can actually fully have my life back like it was pre-Katrina (or pre-K as we call it).
