After several hard years and a failed relationship I am working towards getting back on track financially, to catch up bills, consolidate my debt and be financially healthy. The company I worked for had cut-backs last year and I was one of the people laid-off.  After several months of looking I found a great job with a wonderful national company and have been with them now for almost a year.   I love my job, it is very secure, and I have no plans to leave.  Even though it was devastating to be out of work I feel very lucky because it allowed me to find a better position with a wonderful company.  Now I need to catch up, get back on track financially, and I am determined to get my credit rating back up to normal. 

I own my home and have lived in it for eleven years.

A friend told me about Prosper.com and it sounds like a wonderful opportunity for both the borrowers and lenders.
