I am a 25 year old college graduate, aspiring writer, civil servant and proud union member. Before beginning my current job in November, I worked for the same company for five years. I currently make a little over $23,500 a year, taking home $1300 each month. I live with my girlfriend, who is also a civil servant. She takes home about $2400 each month, and we split living expenses. My budget is as follows: Rent/Utilities: $360 Credit cards: $175 Student loans: $270 Groceries: $100 Savings: $150 This leaves me with $245 each month for entertainment, contingencies, etc. I walk to work and do not use a car, so I don't have transportation expenses. If funded, I will use this loan to pay off three high-interest credit cards. As you can see, my budget includes $175 for debt payments, so this loan will be easy for me to repay.
