Hello,
I am thirty-three years old, originally from Illinois.   I'm currently a Public School Teacher in rural Southern New Mexico, dually licensed in Elementary Education and K-12 Special Ed.  I have been teaching a total of four years.  I earned my Master's Degree at UMKC (Univ. of Mo at Kansas City) two years ago while I was teaching full time at an inner city school.  I was one of a few dozen applicants selected out of hundreds, to enter a program called Teaching Fellows.  This program paid for my Graduate School as long I taught at an inner city school.  I purchased my first home in Missouri in 2003, which I still own and currently use as rental property.

I purchased my second home in New Mexico two years ago. I have a family of 5, three dogs and two cats.  I enjoy hiking in the great outdoors, hence why I moved to New Mexico.  I am also involved with the NEA and I was recently elected Vice-President of our local chapter, I will assume the VP position in June.  I was also elected Vice-President of a theatre group (Cloudcroft light and Opera Co.) in Cloudcroft, NM.  I will be directing a performance this summer for CLOC.

Several months ago, I was in a bad car accident.  I lost control of my vehicle, sightseeing on a rural mountain canyon, it slid off the edge of the road (no guard rails) and rolled into a canyon.  I survived!   Unfortunately, I had reduced my auto insurance to liability only after I had paid off my $9,000 balance.  My car was a total loss.  I am using a pickup truck (fully insured), but driving up and down a mountain in a pickup uses too much gas.

My credit is not bad, it has ranged in the 620-640 range.  The fact that I own two houses and have student loans, hurts my credit.  All payments are current.

I will have $890 left to make the payments on my Prosper loan.  In 2 years, thanks to our Governor, I will have a $20,000 pay increase.  This is in addition to a 7% annual increase in pay the legislature has approved each year.

I believe in the power of people coming together, I hope you believe in me!

If you bid on my listing I promise that I will not let you down and promise to pay off the loan within two years, if not sooner. Thanks for your help,
