New to Prosper, but keen on the idea of community lending. I'd had ideas like this in the past, when I heard about it on the radio, I was particularly happy to see it actually being put into action. I'm applying for a loan for 2 reasons: 1) As mentioned, this community lending idea seems a wonderful way of doing business. I'd much rather give my money for the privilege of borrowing to real people than some faceless corporate entity. 2) I would like to become an active lender here on Prosper. Before I start lending however, I'd be interested to see a loan in execution from the borrower's side of things. This way I can do the research as to Prosper's working and pay money to people for the privilege of borrowing cash. I have a credit card that I would like to pay down and get rid of. Rather than give the card company 14%, I'll put it up here and see how well things work out for me. Even without a face to paste on this advertisment. |
