Background:
I am a 25 year old female born and raised in the small town of Big Bear, California. I graduated from UCI in 2005 with a BA in Criminology. I currently work as a legal assistant in a criminal defense law firm located in Orange County. My aspirations are to attend law school within the next couple of years, so that I can begin my own career practicing law.

Financial Need:
My current fincancial situation arised from unexpected medical expenses incurred as an uninsured college student. I am turning to Prosper to obtain a debt consolidation loan to pay off the 3 credit cards that were primarly used for these medical expenses. These 3 credit cards now total $11,497. With interest rates gradually increasing to well over 20% each, I find myself struggling to merely cover the monthly interest charges.

My Goal:
My ultimate goal is to be released from this financial burden within the next three years so that I can continue my education free from any outstanding debt. I would also love the opportunity to raise my credit score to what it once was and should be.
