I am looking to refinance a loan that I obtained in November 2006 for $6000.00. The MEGA bank thought they would take advantage of someone with not so good credit from when he was younger due to his need for money in a timely manner. I needed the money for our wedding which is in May of this year and would like to be able to pay the loan off before we hit our 5 year anniversary. I saw the today show last week and saw Prosper on it and though what a great Idea. Take away POWER from MEGA banks and give it back to the people where it belongs. I am 27 years old and have $10,000.00 in retirement accounts and I will have my home paid off in 7 years. Currently have 2500.00 in savings but do not want to loose savings back up. I also am employed by the State as a Correctional Officer and have been for 2 years. Net Income 2000.00 per month including self employment but not soon to be spouse's income of her full time job.. Total Expenses 1025.00 including house payment. |
