Thank you for taking the time to read my loan request! My name is Greg. I have been working as a Network Engineer for several years, currently with Raytheon Corp supporting the Department of Defense. I'm married with 2 children. I have excellent credit, no defaults, no delinquencies, no credit issues whatsoever. My wife works for a large insurance company and has a comparable income to mine. I'm new to the Prosper Community and love the idea behind it. I'm looking to start lending to the Prosper Community, but felt that I should go through the process myself first to see what's involved on both sides of the coin. All but about $4,000 (Disney World next month) of my/our CC debt is with Discover Card. I was offered 0% for life, so I took it. That money is currently invested partly in simple Money Market accounts, stocks and mutual funds. We pay our other CC's in full every month. Cars were paid off 1 1/2 years ago. Our mortgage is about 2750 a month, which we pay extra towards each month through automatic debits from our checking account. We've been very responsible with our debt for many years and take pride in our great credit rating.
