About Me:
I am a 30 year old female living in Illinois.  I am employed as a Juvenile Detention Officer for the County I live in.  I make a salary of approximately $30,000 a year.  I enjoy my job and the teenagers I supervise.  In addition to working full time I help take care of my 51 year old mother, who was diagnosed with Invasive Inflammatory Breast Cancer.  This cancer has spread from her right breast to her left breast, to her lungs, her liver, her kidney, and her throat.  She endured a mastectomy of her right breast in November 2006 and she regularly attends chemotherapy sessions to help keep the cancer from spreading.    My mom is unable to work due to her battle with cancer and my father was hospitalized in August 2005 and underwent heart valve replacement and bypass surgery.  This was his second heart surgery he had his aortic artery rebuilt in 1996 due to aneurysm.  My father is 71 years old and also unable to work due to previous heart problems and other medical conditions.  I do the best I can to help out with their household, living, and medical expenses.  They have insurance but it is close to being maxed out and it pays out at 50 to 80% which doesn?t quite help that much.  I want to help them in any way that I can and feel that it is my obligation to do so since I am their only child.
Seeking a Loan:
I am seeking a loan to pay off some of my own credit cards and other expenses at a lower interest rates than what I currently pay.  This would help me pay off the loan faster and help me feel better about having my paycheck more available to help my parents. I have some delinquencies on my credit report but almost all of these were not my fault.  When I was in college accounts were opened in my name that I did not open.  I never opened accounts with MBNA, Chase ect.. and I am working with an attorney to resolve this matter and since the companies have been unable to prove I opened the accounts this should be resolved soon.  It?s very difficult to get negative items removed from your credit file!  Some of my delinquencies are the same accounts listed more than once, for example MBNA that same alleged account is also listed under Midland Credit Management as they bought out the account so its listed twice but it?s the same account.
Loan Repayment:
I can definitely afford to repay the loan I have very few of my own expenses right now. I gross a monthly income of around $2100.00. Monthly Expenditures: Car Payment: 377.00 Rent: 150.00  ( I share a house with others who share the rent payment with me.) Water: 20.00 (shared payment) Cable: 10.00 (shared payment) Electric: 75.00 to 125.00 a month (shared payment) Cell Phone: 30.00 (shared plan) Gas for Car: 40.00 to 50.00 a month Credit cards:  varies I usually pay off some balances but I would guess 100.00 to 300.00 should be eliminated with this Prosper loan. My card debt is the result of helping with my moms medical bills. I do allocate some money for clothing every now and then. Food expenses:  This varies but most of my meals are paid through my job. I would guess I spend maybe $50.00 on food a month.   I can easily afford to pay off the prosper loan I usually have quite a bit left out of my paycheck and although this $ usually helps my parents with their expenses, both my parents and I would sleep easier at night knowing I could consolidate my credit cards into a prosper loan at lower interest rate.    Some of the prosper loan may go to helping out my family with medical and daily living expenses.   Thank you to whoever can help me out with a loan.  I promise to pay it back in a responsible and timely manner!
