I just started lending on Prosper and have another fund transfer in process. I'd like to experience the borrowering process of Prosper because I believe it's best to fully understand both sides. The picture you see is of my husband, my daughter and me at her preschool graduation in 2004. I so wish I could go back to that day or any day before August 11, 2006. That was the day my daughter and I lost our favorite guy in an auto accident. It has been really, really tough to accept that he is gone. Our daughter was 5 years old when she lost her daddy. As an eBay seller with 100% positive feedback, I am glad to have found Prosper.com. It will be a way for me to get back into doing something that's fun, make a little $, and at the same time to help others get out of debt and accomplish other goals/dreams. Prosper will become part of my "healing process". The amount of $1108 has a significant meaning to me which is why I did not just ask for an even $1000. It has been said that numbers that you see often has some meaning in your life. May not be something you believe in, but with the stress and grief of losing my soul mate.....it has just been something to make life without him a little easier for me. Kind of like he's still somehow around us. Feel free to ask any questions. As I mentioned in the beginning (although most of this description somehow became all about "Dave") I am a new Proper lender, have loans and pending bids.
