The Bridge Studio was
opened three months ago to provide a studio for photographers that
cannot afford to rent the big expensive studios so prevalent in New
York. It is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn which is the center for
artists and is extremely close to Manhattan.
I launched it
with almost no capital doing all construction myself and using free
promotional means such as craigslist and myspace. The response has
been amazing and the studio already has about 2 bookings per week and
10 or more inquiries about it. The reason I launched the business this
way was because I wanted to be positive that the venture would be
successful before incurring any debt because of it. I am now
completely confident that it will be.
I am asking for this
loan in order to assure that expenses are covered for the next two
months while I continue to build it, to purchase some essential
equipment for the studio such as light stands (C-Stands), to launch a
website and for a small advertising budget so that I can begin
advertising in some of the paid advertising methods such as print. |
