I am a busy Wall Street professional (based in NewYork City) with a wife and three children. The proposed loan is merely an interesting diversion to to help me test how I can arbitrage the the prosper credit market by borrowing at relatively low rates (based on my strong credit scores) and then lending at higher rates to a diversified pool of somewhat less credit worthy borrowers. While I don't want to disclose specifics as to my net worth, income or expenses, you should know that I have sufficient non-retirement liquid assets such that I could take up to two years off without exhausting the resources available to me (cash on hand and liquid marketable securities).
My investment strategy will be to invest in adiversified pool of loans to "A and "B" rated borrowers with DTI ratios of less than 20%. No more than $75 will be invested in any one loan. Minimum rates will be adjusted frequently depending on market condition using both standing orders and manual selections.
