Loan Request I recently bought a fixer-upper at a good deal and I am requesting funds for home improvements. I am planning to do the following home improvements: Floors - $2,800 Siding - $1,500 Plumbing - $500 I will be able to pay back the loan without a problem. Monthly Income (after taxes): $3,200.00 Mortgage: $850.00 Truck Payment: $350.00 Food: $500.00 Credit Cards: $200.00 Utilities (Monthly): $400.00 As you can see, I have $900 left over every month. The $210/monthly payment will not be a problem. Background After 9 years of marriage, 3 days after our first child was born, my ex-wife decides she is unhappy, packs up and moves back home with her mom and dad to North Georgia. Then comes the divorce and due to being awarded 95% of all marital debt, yep, bankruptcy. I carried our marital debt for over a year before getting so overwhelmed and filing. Prior to this my credit score was perfect, able to buy and do almost anything. Ex and I lived in South Metro Atlanta. I decide my kid is where I need to be so I started looking immediately for housing in the area. Lucky for me I find a house on their same street as my ex-wifes family.
