I am 32 years old, married to my wife for 5 years (we've been together for 10 years). I have been a successful entrepreneur since founding my costume business in 2002. My business has been profitable from the first year of operation. I am very responsible with my finances. I think the credit score will speak to that responsibility, but I will be happy to answer any further questions you might have about my business or my credit history. My business currently has annual revenues of over $400,000. I am in the process of acquiring the premier costume company in Raleigh, NC which has been a local institution since 1975. The current owner and I have been friends for about 10 years and she has decided to retire. By combining my current specialty costume business into her 8,000 square foot location and theatrical costume business, I have the opportunity to nearly double my annual revenues with minimal increase in annual overhead. Currently, my business operates at about 25% profitability on an annual basis. The loan I am seeking will be used to remodel and refit a section of the building, which is currently unused, as more retail space and to purchase new store fixtures and upgrade current ones.
