I use to have really good credit, never had a problem paying bills on time, had a 5.5% mortgage, then I cut back on work to concentrate solely on school.  Shortly after, I got into an accident, had no insurance; and despite me making monthly payments of over $300 on a totaled vehicle, I finally got overwhelmed with debt and it got repossessed.  At that point, I just gave up on credit altogether and didn't think it was worth it.  Wow, was I wrong!!!

So now here I am, two years later, got a good job in civil service making $28k a year, still going to school, almost finished, and just got a better job offer than the one I have.  I am getting offered a GS-07 position (currently a GS-05) that starts at $39k plus locality; only problem is I have to relocate.

Current Net Income                                $1800 a month
Additional from VA disability                     115

Rent                                                       650 (shared with girlfriend/ so really $325)
Electricity/Utilities                                   150
Cable/Telephone                                       75
Auto Insurance                                         60
Loan with Mom                                        100
Food expense                                         350
Gas                                                         75
Books for school, averages                       100

Total                                                      1235

This leaves nearly $700 in disposable income on a monthly basis.  Currently, I have $1500 saved up, and will likely have another $500 or so more by the time I move, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Please feel free
