My Situation :

My husband and I own a Christian Mortgage company located in Southern California. We have been growing our business for over 3 years now. It has been quite an adventure to say the least. We heard the call of God on our hearts to start this company based on the integrity and ethics that God has instilled in our hearts. We provide families with an opportunity to have an honest and low cost refinance or purchase loans and by the grace of God have saved many families from losing their homes in this very hard market. We are really trying to make a difference in people?s lives everyday.

* The only reason why I scored 22 on the DTI scale is it only allowed one persons income. My husband makes an additional $130k to $150k per year. Also the reason the credit grade is C and not A is because when you have high balances on credit cards and lines your credit drops. We are normally a 690 fico and above.

We moved to a new office and something very unfortunate happened. The 3rd day we were all set up and a City water pipe burst right under our office suite destroying our office suite and equipment. We were forced to move back home and run our company from our house. This event cost us a lot of money, and a lot of stress. We have been working night and day. 15 hour days in order to catch up on all our back debt that this caused, and maintain our current monthly bills and our credit. We are very fortunate that we built a successful company and we have continued to thrive even in today?s market.

The reason why we are seeking to do a loan is to allow us to finish cleaning up the past debt that we took on when we were growing the company. We took on about $260,000 in overhead and debt last year and have paid back $190,000 diligently thus far. Yes, we are tired, but have a thriving business and extraordinary work ethics that push us forward every day in faith knowing that we will get some help and get out of this.*We make all of our payments on time each month and then make extra large payments to our debt on the months that our business is extremely blessed.

*We would like to find a good consolidation loan in order to relieve us from our high rate credit card?s and credit lines and have only 1 payment going forward.

Saving over $4,000 per month will allow us to continue to pay off the debts without it affecting our health and without the stress we will be able to start our family ? Our hearts desire?.

We would also like to be able to give back to members of the prosper community. My husband and I are big givers and love to contribute to the lives of others everyday. Obviously, we are posting this loan request with a higher interest rate offering than you would expect from a debt consolidation loan. The reason for this is simple: We are trusting the Prosper auction system to value our loan appropriately and we want to give potential lenders the ability to bid our interest down to an acceptable level. With our credit grade, home ownership, and high incomes, we expect our final rate to be significantly lower than the rate we have initially posted.
