Hi there, I am requesting this loan so that I can pay-off some of the credit cards whose interest rates have recently gone through the roof. The reason for the increasing debt has been my wife?s medical bills. My wife inherited from her father two blood diseases, the first called Von Willebrands disease which in most cases is more of a ?nuisance? condition rather than something that is fatal and the second, Pi 1 disorder. Basically, Von Willebrand's disease is where the blood takes longer than normal to clot and so every time she visits the dentist or has an operation she has to get an infusion of drugs that allows the blood to clot. Unfortunately back in the days when the treatment for the disease was less substantive than it is now and before they screened blood, my wife had a large volume of plasma during a routine procedure. The plasma was contaminated with hepatitis C which remained dormant until 2004. Soon after her diagnosis she went through a severe treatment for the Hepatitis C. To cut a long story short she was thankfully cured of Hepatitis but unfortunately, we have been dealing with the side effects of the treatment ever since which has lead to the increased medical bills. With regards to my credit standing, despite having the credit card debt, I have always managed to pay my bills on time, I have never been late with my payments and have no desire to begin now. However, I just want to pay down my credit card debt and not have the stress of this debt hanging over me so that I can concentrate on my family and enjoying life. I also know that if my debt were not high then my credit score would be very good because of my payment history. I am not a risk and I promise not to disappoint you.
