Explanation of circumstances:
My current 3 year rented home location is Terre Haute, IN at $475.00 per month, I have signed-up with USDA Rural Development and was approved for a loan at $49,500 to buy a new home which will be built in West Terre Haute community near an elementary school. USDA's loan payments will be $245.00 per month, which escrows the annual property taxes and house insurance owed into the morgage. USDA will also through U.S. Government grants help me build a single car garage on this new property for the vehicles and tractors I own. HUD's Section 8 Rental Voucher Program that assists with my rent to bring my payments down to $254.00 per month for my rental, will now for a first time program for our area have available a Section 8 Housing Buying Program and will bring my house payment down to approximately $132.00 per month. I am permanently disabled for nine years with severe sleep apnea and this will be my first time housing buying goal at 52 years of age. C & D Construction from our community is building thrity new homes Phase I & II atcost on 40' x 140' plots to aid us. Now, I could welcome a consolidation loan to keep pace with expenses and to cover the moving assistance needed to complete the re-location to the newly finished home in 2 or 3 months. Goverment programs have shifted greatly and hoped by this move to economize, but will take some extra funding to perform the job safely with my disability. I do have a $10,000 life insurance policy through American Family to cover my debtors in case of loss of life, and would appreciate any help preparing going to home that will be more energy efficient using a heat pump and dependable city water. Thank-you.
