I am 25 years old and ready to become debt free!! I've been thinking about my financial future and have come to the conclusion that for someone my age, and working as a pre-school teacher, I may never have a place of my own (you may have heard the rumor about how teachers don't have the best salaries in the world. Well I can attest to that). I have been working with 2-3 year olds for the past 4 years. Initially I was only planning to stay for a while until I graduated with my bachelors degree. Well, not only did I not have the money to continue my path of a higher education, I grew more and more in love with the kids that I taught. I know some of you might be thinking "get another job" well you see, I have considered that, believe me, but I know that this preschool is the place that God wants me to be.
I know that when I receive the loan to pay off my credit card debt, it will allow me to start building up my savings account for the future. It has been difficult to get a consolidation loan through different banks and lending institutions. It's even worse being turned down for not having collateral (a house, stocks, etc.). It will be awesome to be able to use this money to get 4 credit card "monkey's" off my back. |
