Hello and thank you for taking a look at my loan request. A little about me, I am a 29 year old Father and Husband, currently serving in the United States Coast Guard. I am a go for it type of calculated risk taker and too hard headed to fail at my dreams. My dream consists of owning and operating a successful family business. Something that could help lead my family and I to financial independence. A means of providing for my family something that I personally have never known, wealth.

My intentions with the loan will be to use it to help in the Build out and Initial Operating expenses of the Business itself. We are opening an Ice cream parlor in my community using a National and Worldwide recognized Brand. We also intend to subsidize Ice Cream sales with Coffee, Smoothies, Ice Cream Cakes, Shaved Ice, Birthday parties and eventually Donuts or Funnel Cakes. The location of the proposed Parlor will be immediately accrossed the street from the local college, providing a good opportunity to offer Wireless internet access for the students, which in turn creates traffic for my parlor.

        My Monthly Income:
USCG Salary and Benefits: $4,185 Before Taxes - Approximately $3,900 after
Investment Property currently leased until Next December: $625 monthly (Mortgage $420 Mo.)
        My Monthly Expenditures:
Main Home Mort.: $800
HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit): $250 - Identified in my credit report as "Revolving Credit - Approx. $29,000"
Investment Property Mort.: $420
Utilities (phone, internet, power, water, TV, cells): $400
Vehicle: $570
Insurance: $135 (4 times per 6 mon. policy)
Credit Cards: $200
Groceries: $300
Gas and Misc: $150
Savings: $100
        Total: $3325
Left To Repay Prosper Loan: $1200 After Taxes
Added Comfort: I am Dedicating $15,000 of my own savings to this business, So I would not only be obligated to my lenders to succeed, but also to myself.

I intend to repay the loan with profits from the Business, but I do have the remaining $1200 from my current salary as a fail safe. I would like to add that I am an honest person, trying to make an honest living and hoping to make my families life a little easier in the long run. It makes me extremely uncomfortable having such a limited income, when I know things will only get more expensive. Your assistance and trust are genuinely appreciated and any loan I receive will be paid on time, thats my word. Thank you very much and in case you were wondering, my wife will manage the Parlor as a full time job.  If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
