I am an ICD-9 coder for the Medical Records Department at a local hospital. I have been at my job for 20 years and really enjoy what I do. I put numbers to diagnoses for the insurance companies, so that people can get their bills paid. I especially enjoy getting bills paid through Medicare so that our elderly people don't have to pay their bills. I do this in an honest and accurate fashion. I have some high interest rate credit cards that I am interested in paying off. Once I pay them, I would like to cancel them as I am learning that more, is not always better. I would like to have one monthly payment that I can manage instead of trying to keep track of several little ones. I have a daughter that is in her first year of college. She is interested in pursuing a medical degree. Needless to say, this will be very expensive and as her mother, I want nothing more than to be able to help her dreams come true.
