He's a tremendous resource to the Prosper community and quite knowledgeable about a variety of things outside of it.

Kevin is a great guy! If you haven't yet, you should check out his blog at rateladder.com for some great Prosper related info. Make sure to check out his Prosper Days presentation online as well!

RateLadder.com is the founder of ProProsper.com, which is one of the great third-party sites, and the only one known to me that allows users to write arbitrary SQL queries against an augmented Prosper data dump. He's done extensive studies Prosper data and is very savvy about funding rates, groups, and a host of other Prosper arcana. I'm eager to see what kind of listings his group brings in!

Master developer, keen businessman and prosper wizard. RateLadder is a born maven (a la 'the tipping point').

RateLadder is very sharp and has done his math on this loan. Not only do I know he's perfectly capable of paying off the loan, but the fact that the tax benefit from his SEP IRA will more than pay for the interest of the loan is sheer brilliance (see http://www.lazymanandmoney.com/sep-iras-a-primer-and-a-funding-strategy).

I've never actually met Kevin, but have corresponded with him extensively as a p2p lending blogger. I keep up prosperlending.blogspot.com and he writes rateladder.com and other p2p lending websites. He is also the editor for the official Prosper blog. Needless to say, he's got to pay this loan back or he loses major street cred. I've bid on the loan and recommend that you don't so that I will get a better interest rate. Just kidding - let's support Kevin and give him a great rate.

RateLadder is a smart, successful, and cooperative member of the Prosper community. I give him my highest endorsement.

I have become friends with Kevin over the past year and been to his home and met his family. He is one of the more honest and financially responsible individuals I know. I have bid on this loan and plan to bid more if I can get more money into my Prosper account in time.
Endorsement from building_community on Jan 28, 2008
I've been following RateLadder's P2P writings for some time now. I firmly believe that someone as publicly and personally committed to P2P lending, Prosper, and the Prosper community as RL could ever default on an obligation. (Short of meteors, I mean.) And anyone brave enough to publicly eschew the "no risk" designation gets a pat on the back from me. My $2K bid is with full confidence.

I saw Kevin's presentation at Prosper Days 2007 and he is very knowledgeable about software and personal finance. Kevin has also done an excellent job as editor of the Official Prosper Blog and on his own p2p lending-related sites. I have complete confidence in Kevin and his ability to repay the loan.

I met RateLadder at Prosper Days '07. He speaks on the subject of finances and P2P lending like a person that really has a good handle on the future growth. He really doesn't need another endorsement, his credit speaks for itself. However, I do fully endorse this listing with no reservations.

Kevin (RateLadder) has been (and, I have no doubt, will continue to be) a dedicated and helpful member of the Prosper and P2P Lending community. I've personally used his various statistics and analysis sites, and have communicated with him on a number of occasions in the last 2 years and found him to be knowledgeable, professional, and helpful.

K worked for me. Besides being a 'great guy', he is very responsible in his personal and professional life. You can be sure that Kevin will not miss, or be late, with a loan payment.
Endorsement from fortune888 on Feb 03, 2008
RL is an enthusiatic Prosper supporter. His unwithered passion towards the P2P lending concept in the midst of growing cynicism and suspicion is respectable. In addition, I have found his personal finance in a solid state, and his committment to repay the loan parallel to his passion to the P2P cause. I endorse his listing with a significant bid. - fortune888, a member of Malama Ohana group

Outstanding individual, excellent insights and generous enough to share them with the world on his gem of a blog: Lazy Man and Money

Eric's website is a great resource for the community and a stand up individual. In case you missed his Prosper Days 2007 presentation let me recap: grace under pressure personified.
Endorsement for Leporello on Apr 15, 2007
Leporello is one of the more passioned and reasoned lenders I know. He has a wealth of experience and opinions about lending and is always eager to share. He is also the architect and original query writer of the "What Groups Do You Really Support?" feature on ProProsper: http://www.proprosper.com/ProProsper/index.jsp?pp=GroupSupport

Endorsement for buhcorp on Apr 24, 2008
I have corresponded regularly with buhcorp every since he was unable to get a loan due to rate caps. He runs a blog on the stock market at http://www.deepmarket.com and has been a following the p2p lending market and a regular commenter of my blog RateLadder http://www.rateladder.com This is a straight forward debt consolidation... I am bidding ~125 at the minimum rate of 1%.

The Penny Saved is a great personal finance blog. This blogger is putting his blog reputation on the line, which is all but a guarantee in my book. His blog produces income that he would never jeopardize by defaulting. I fully endorse this borrower as a friend and group leader. We are aware of the challenge to reach funding we face with this listing and appreciate your bid. I wrote a blog post on the listing @ http://www.rateladder.com. I bid @ 1%
