At my suggestion, she is requesting a Prosper loan to refinance debt and to take advantage of a shorter loan term as well as a lower interest rate. Moreover this is a Group that is committed to the People to People Lending concept and Brenda is dedicated to upholding the principles of which this Group was founded. It's an honor to endorse Brenda on her Prosper loan request. I've been working with her for the past several months on a regular basis as we are both involved as event coordinators for the upcoming Aloha Meet and Greet for Prosper Users (Honolulu, October 6-7). Ohana listings to Prosper is like safe heaven to the jungle. Would you like to bid on a listing with a promised 7 to 10% return under a solid group leader, or a listing promising 20%+ return, yet with compromised credit profile? For me, the choice is clear, GO WITH OHANA!

Malama Ohana loans have been the best performers in my Prosper portfolio. Credit for this goes to the Group Leader who runs this group as intended, only presenting borrowers who have the best ability to repay the loan. Based upon the Malama Ohana Group history I will once again bid aggressively and match the Group Leaders 5% rate to ensure my position.

Any listing from the Malana Ohana group is about as sure a bet as there is on Prosper. Even with the really low rate cap, Ohana loans get funded--and for good reason. This is community lending as was intended. I've put in $3000. I recently had several significant policy disagreements with Prosper and very publicly stated that I'd stop bidding. Once I saw another Malama Ohana listing, I had to resume bidding.
